Our client, a dynamic eCommerce organisation based in LS15, Leeds, is seeking a skilled Temporary Financial Accountant to support their finance team during a busy period. This is an exciting chance to work with a forward-thinking company that values innovation and collaboration!

Position: Temporary Financial Accountant
Location: LS15, Leeds - hybrid - 3 days on site
Contract Type: Temporary
Start Date: ASAP - 6 months
Pay Rate: Up to £190 per day (dependant on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week (generally 9am-5:30pm)

Car parking available on site

Key Responsibilities:

Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records 📊
Assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes
Producing financial reports and statements for management review
Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Collaborating with internal teams to drive financial performance
Managing accounts payable and receivable functions
Addressing and resolving any financial discrepanciesWhat Our Client Is Looking For:

A professional qualification in accounting (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) 📚
Proven experience in financial accounting, preferably within an eCommerce environment
Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Experience preparing and posting journals
Strong understanding of balance sheets and balance sheet reconciliations
Experience supporting audits, particularly during peak audit periodsApplication Process:
