Your responsibilities will include:

* Leading the recruitment, onboarding, induction and clinical sign-off of new clinicians.

* Maintaining diagnostic quality through clinical audits, report reviews and calibration of assessment tools.

* Ensuring assessments comply with NICE guidelines (NG87 for ADHD and CG142 for Autism).

* Leading clinical governance, including safeguarding, incidents, complaints, clinical risk management and policy development.

* Monitoring clinical performance, waiting times and key performance indicators.

* Working closely with psychiatrists, prescribing teams, GPs and other healthcare professionals to support onward care and ADHD medication pathways.

* Supporting service development, workforce planning and relationships with NHS commissioners and partners.

About You

To be considered, you will need:

* Current registration with a UK statutory professional regulator (HCPC, NMC or GMC).

* Relevant postgraduate training in neurodevelopmental assessment.

* Formal training in recognised diagnostic tools, including DIVA-5, ADOS-2 and ADI-R.

* Significant post-registration experience independently undertaking adult ADHD and Autism diagnostic assessments.

* Strong knowledge of differential diagnosis and co-occurring mental health conditions.

* A thorough understanding of NICE NG87 and CG142, alongside DSM-5-TR and ICD-11 diagnostic criteria.

* Previous clinical leadership experience, including supervising clinicians and contributing to multidisciplinary diagnostic meetings.

* Experience in clinical governance, clinical audits, incident management and complaints.

* Experience working within or alongside NHS-commissioned services.

* Excellent report-writing, communication and decision-making skills.

* Confidence leading remote clinical teams and delivering assessments through digital clinical systems and video consultations.

* Knowledge of adult and children's safeguarding, the Mental Capacity Act and information governance.
