Software Test Engineer

We're looking for a curious and proactive Software Tester to join a growing development team and help improve the quality of its software.

This is a great opportunity for someone with solid manual testing experience who is interested in developing their automation skills. You'll be the sole QA professional in the business, giving you the opportunity to take ownership of testing and help build an automated testing framework from scratch, with support from the development team.

What you'll be doing Carrying out manual testing across front-end applications and back-end APIs.
Writing and following test cases, including regression and exploratory testing.
Using tools such as Postman to test APIs.
Identifying, documenting and reporting bugs.
Checking data flows and ensuring software works as expected.
Working closely with developers to improve software quality.
Helping introduce and develop automated testing processes.

What we're looking for Experience in manual software testing across front-end and back-end systems.
Experience testing APIs using Postman or a similar tool.
An understanding of test cases, regression testing and defect reporting.
Someone curious, proactive and keen to learn.
An interest in automation testing. Commercial automation experience isn't essential, but personal projects or independent learning would be a bonus.
