Working in a mature, agile environment, our SCRUM teams work synchronously with our customers to solve some of the toughest digital challenges faced in the world today. \ N \nRole& Responsibilities \ NWork as a Principal Platform Engineer, deploying applications and software to cloud or on-prem environments for our many business areas.\ N \nDue to the interesting work we do and the sector this team is working in, we require all candidates to be willing to attain an eDV clearance.\ N\n\nBuilding andsetting up development tools and infrastructure\ N\n\nUnderstand the needs of project stakeholders\ N\n\nAutomateand improve development and release processes\ N\n\nEnsure that systems are safe and secure against cyber security threats\ N\n\nIdentifytechnical problems and develop software updates and solutions\ N\n\nWork with other engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended\ N\n\n \ NRequired experience \ N\n\nExperience of working in an Agile/SCRUM/DevOps delivery model\ N\n\nCloud technologies (AWS or Azure)\ N\n\nInfrastructure as code e.G. Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible etc.\ N\n\nExperience in building and deploying large-scale applications in\ N\n\nContinuous Integration/Delivery pipelines; \n\n\nContainer platform and orchestration systems ECS, AKS, Kubernetes/helm/Docker\ N\n\nExperience in automation and integration tools such as Jenkins,\ N\n\nConcourse CI or cloud equivalents\ N\n\nExperience in scripting languages and source control\ N\n
