Luton Van Driver – Uttoxeter, Staffordshire – £14.50–£21.75 Per Hour People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Luton Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering £14.50 per hour, weekend rates of £21.75 per hour, Monday to Friday working, weekly pay, immediate starts and full paid training. You will be delivering and collecting refrigerators at supermarkets across the country, working alongside a Driver's Mate. £14.50 Per Hour | £21.75 Weekend Rate | Monday to Friday | 6am Starts | Weekly Pay | Immediate Starts | Paid Training This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Luton Van Driver , Van Delivery Driver , Multi-Drop Van Driver , Delivery Driver or Courier Driver . Shifts

• Monday to Friday
• 6:00am starts
• Weekend work may be available Rates of Pay

• Opportunities for progression Day-to-Day Duties As a Luton Van Driver , your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Delivering refrigerators to supermarkets across the country
• Delivering and collecting refrigerators alongside a Driver's Mate
• Completing scheduled delivery routes safely and efficiently
• Ensuring refrigerators are installed correctly at delivery locations
• Operating company vehicles safely and professionally
• Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
• Ensuring all loads are correctly secured before departure
• Following UK road traffic and environmental regulations
• Providing excellent customer service to supermarket staff and customers
• Reporting delivery issues, route delays or vehicle defects promptly Essential Skills To be successful as a Luton Van Driver , you will need:
• Valid UK Category B Driving Licence
• Minimum 12 months' experience driving Category B vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences
• Good knowledge of the UK road network
• Good spoken and written English
• Excellent punctuality and timekeeping
• Good understanding of UK road traffic laws
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work effectively alongside a Driver's Mate Desirable

Experience

• Previous Luton van or multi-drop delivery experience
• Previous experience delivering large appliances or bulky goods
• Experience completing deliveries to retail or supermarket locations Training Provided
• Full paid training before starting
• Fully paid induction covering vehicles, safety and delivery procedures
