We're looking for an experienced Decorator to carry out high-quality repairs and redecoration across occupied and empty homes. This role is about transforming spaces, delivering first-time fixes, and leaving every home better than you found it. About the role As a Decorator, you'll carry out high-quality painting and redecoration across occupied and void homes, helping to maintain and improve the homes our customers rely on. You'll also apply damp and mould treatments and complete associated redecoration, supporting safe and well-maintained homes. Working in a field-based role, you'll manage your own day, deliver first-time fixes, and complete work efficiently without compromising quality. You'll work both independently and with colleagues, providing a smooth, customer-focused service while following health and safety standards. What we're looking for We're looking for a skilled Decorator who shares our values and takes pride in delivering high-quality work that makes a real difference to our customers' homes. Customer Driven: You understand the importance of working in customers' homes, delivering a respectful, reliable service and ensuring every job leaves a positive, lasting impression. Accountability: You take ownership of your work, managing your time effectively, meeting targets, and delivering a high-quality finish without cutting corners. Develop & Learn: You're committed to maintaining and developing your decorating skills, keeping up to date with best practice to consistently deliver excellent standards. Champion Communication: You communicate clearly and professionally with customers, colleagues and the wider team, helping to keep jobs running smoothly and ensuring a seamless repairs service. You'll bring * N V Q Level 2/ City & Guilds in Painting & Decorating, (or equivalent) or significant equivalent practical experience. * Proven decorating expertise, with solid experience delivering high-quality internal and external painting and redecoration across occupied and void properties. * Experience working within social housing, property maintenance, repairs, or a similar customer-focused environment. * Knowledge of best practice, including the safe application of treatments such as damp and mould solutions. * A commitment to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. * A full U K driving licence. Pre-employment requirements The successful candidate will be required to complete a Basic D B S check, Right to Work check and D V L A licence check.
