Are you a passionate hospitality leader who loves people, standards, and creating memorable guest experiences?
We're looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead one of our pubs and play a key role in shaping its future. This is more than a traditional General Manager position. You'll work closely with the founders, leading from the front, building a high-performing team, and delivering outstanding customer experiences every day.
My client believes great pubs are built on great teams. As General Manager, you'll be the cultural and operational heartbeat of the business, with the autonomy to lead, develop people, and drive performance across every area of the pub.
What You'll Be Responsible For
People
- Recruit, train and inspire a high-performing team
- Create a culture of engagement, development and accountability
- Lead performance management, coaching and succession planning
- Be a visible leader who spends time where it matters most, with guests and team members
Standards
- Maintain exceptional standards across front and back of house
- Ensure compliance with licensing, health & safety and food safety requirements
- Keep the business audit-ready and brand-proud every day
Service
- Deliver outstanding guest experiences and 5-star service
- Lead energetic, organised shifts
- Create a welcoming environment that drives loyalty and repeat visits
Sales & Profit
- Drive revenue through strong product knowledge and local community engagement
- Manage labour, stock and costs effectively
- Use KPIs and reporting to improve performance and maximise profitability

Essential Requirements
- NCPLH Level II
- Emergency First Aid at Work
- Full UK Driving Licence
