Managemant Accountant

An established and growing Nottingham-based business with a diverse portfolio of projects is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its finance team.The role offers broad exposure across management accounting, reporting, budgeting and forecasting, working closely with senior stakeholders across a multi-entity environment. It would suit an ambitious accountant looking for a varied role with genuine commercial exposure and the opportunity to take ownership.Key responsibilities:Prepare monthly management accounts, journals and balance sheet reconciliations.Analyse financial performance and provide meaningful variance analysis against budget and forecast.Support the annual budgeting, forecasting and cash flow processes.Produce financial reports and analysis for senior management.Support year-end accounts, statutory reporting and external audit requirements.Work closely with operational and commercial teams, providing financial insight and supporting process improvements.Key requirements:ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified/recently qualified.Strong management accounting and month-end experience.Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.Strong Excel and financial systems skills.Organised, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities.If this is something of interest, click 'apply' or send your CV Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
