Residential Conveyancer

Residential Conveyancer | Full Time 9-5 | Southport/Hybrid | £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience

You will be one of three residential conveyancers working in a busy and expanding conveyancing department.

About You

You will be a Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor with a minimum of three years’ post-qualification experience in a similar role. You will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of residential conveyancing work.

What will your role look like?

· Handling residential property transactions from instruction to completion

· Drafting contracts for sales

· Identifying title issues and raising/dealing with enquiries

· Dealing with all aspects of transfer of equity including managing clients and lender requirements

· Dealing with planning enquiries

· Undertaking mortgage redemptions.

· Maintaining the Leap database system

· Liaising with the accounts department to ensure swift transactions

· Dealing with searches

· Providing regular updates to clients

· Dealing with the land registry portal (requesting documents/sims & registrations)

· Completing SDLT Applications using HRMC website

Are you the right person for the job?

· Licensed Conveyancer or Solicitor

· Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel with relevant keyboard skills

· Able to work without an assistant.
