We are looking for a skilled Mobile Vehicle Technician to join our team and become a key part of our continued growth. You'll be working from a fully equipped company van, travelling to customer locations to carry out servicing, diagnostics and repairs. No sitting in the same workshop every day, no repetitive routine and no two jobs exactly the same. This is a role for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys dealing directly with customers and is confident working independently. What you'll be doing: As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for delivering a high standard of mechanical and electrical work at customer locations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: * Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs at customer locations * Diagnosing faults using the latest diagnostic equipment * Completing mechanical and electrical repairs to a high standard * Servicing vehicles in line with manufacturer recommendations * Carrying out accurate fault-finding and identifying the root cause of issues * Delivering safe, efficient and professional workmanship on every job * Maintaining accurate job records, including parts used and time taken * Explaining faults, repairs and recommendations clearly to customers * Managing the tools, equipment and stock within your mobile workshop * Following company procedures and health & safety standards What we're looking for: We are looking for an experienced technician who can hit the ground running and is comfortable working independently. You'll ideally have: * Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Mechanic * NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance, or an equivalent qualification * Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills * The ability to work independently and manage your own workload * Excellent communication skills and a customer-first approach * A professional attitude and pride in the quality of your work * Your own tools * A full, valid UK driving licence appropriate for the role, with the ability to drive company vehicles and travel as required It would be great if you also have: * Previous experience working in a mobile, field based or roadside environment * Experience working on hybrid and electric vehicles * A genuine interest in keeping your technical knowledge up to date * A desire to develop your skills and progress your career Why join us?
