We are recruiting experienced VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) Forklift Drivers for a busy distribution centre based in St Albans (AL2).

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled forklift operators to join a well-established warehouse and distribution operation. The role involves operating VNA Forklift Trucks, moving and replenishing palletised stock, working within narrow aisle racking systems and supporting the warehouse team.

Immediate starts available, with ongoing work and potential permanent opportunities for successful candidates.

• Contract Type: Temporary / Temp to Perm
• Location: St Albans (AL2)
• Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, with weekend shifts available
• AM Start Time: 08:00 AM

PAY

Standard Rate – Monday to Friday

• Basic Hourly Rate: £14.10
• Holiday Pay (Rolled Up): £1.92
• Total Hourly Pay (Inclusive): £16.02

Saturday Rate

• Basic Hourly Rate: £14.80
• Holiday Pay (Rolled Up): £2.02
• Total Hourly Pay (Inclusive): £16.82

Sunday Rate

• Basic Hourly Rate: £15.51
• Holiday Pay (Rolled Up): £2.12
• Total Hourly Pay (Inclusive): £17.63
• Pay Frequency: Weekly

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

• Operating a VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
• Moving, stacking and retrieving palletised goods within narrow aisle racking systems
• Replenishing stock into designated warehouse locations
• Loading and unloading goods where required
• Carrying out stock movements accurately and efficiently
• Supporting order preparation and dispatch operations
• Conducting daily forklift safety checks and reporting defects
• Assisting with general warehouse duties when required
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
• Following all Health & Safety procedures and site policies

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• Valid and in-date VNA Forklift Licence – Essential
• Previous VNA Forklift operating experience – Essential
• Experience working within narrow aisle warehouse environments
• Previous warehouse or distribution experience
• Good understanding of warehouse Health & Safety procedures
• Strong xwzovoh communication skills and attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to full-time work
