About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Deputy Manager or aspiring Service Manager to join a growing and values-led care provider supporting adults with complex needs within community-based services. This role would suit someone ready to take the next step in their career, with strong leadership skills, a person-centred approach and a passion for delivering high-quality support. The Role You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of high-quality care and support services, ensuring positive outcomes for the individuals supported whilst leading and developing a motivated staff team. Working closely with senior leadership, families, commissioners and external professionals, you will help shape services, drive quality improvements and ensure compliance with CQC and legislative requirements. Key Responsibilities * Lead, support and develop staff through supervision, coaching and training * Promote a positive, inclusive and person-centred culture across the service * Oversee safe and effective service delivery in line with CQC standards * Support the development and implementation of new care packages * Ensure safeguarding, risk management and Mental Capacity Act requirements are met * Maintain effective staffing levels and support recruitment activity * Build and maintain strong relationships with families, commissioners and professionals * Monitor service performance, occupancy and KPI data * Drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes for the people supported * Ensure policies, procedures and compliance standards are consistently maintained About You * A level 3 Health and Social Care qualification or relevant career experience * Experience of line management and leading teams in our sector * Previous experience within a Deputy Manager, Team Leader or similar senior care position * Passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support * Strong leadership and communication skills * Understanding of CQC standards, safeguarding and compliance * Experience supporting adults with complex needs, learning disabilities, autism or mental health needs desirable * Ability to lead teams positively and confidently * Full UK driving licence preferred What’s on Offer * Salary of £33,000 - £36,000 * Opportunity to progress within a growing organisation * Supportive senior management team * Ongoing training and development * Chance to genuinely shape and develop services If you are looking to take the next step into management and want to join an organisation focused on quality, development and positive outcomes, we would love to hear from you
