Location: Watford – 5 minutes' walk from Watford Junction
Contract Length: 4 weeks
Start Date: 2 November
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
Salary: £250 per day
Project Value: £200,000

Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee a 4-week refurbishment project in Watford.

This is a practical, site-based role suited to someone who is comfortable leading from the front and getting involved with the works, rather than purely managing from an office.

The project will involve a range of minor refurbishment and finishing works, including demolition, flooring, wet wall installation, decoration, furniture movements and waste removal.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site activities and subcontractors
• Coordinate minor demolition and strip-out works
• Oversee flooring and finishing works
• Supervise wet wall installation
• Manage decoration and making-good works
• Coordinate furniture movements and positioning
• Organise waste removal and maintain a clean, safe site
• Ensure works are completed to the required programme and standard
• Manage deliveries, materials and site logistics
• Maintain site health & safety standards
• Liaise with the project team and subcontractors
• Be hands-on and assist with practical site requirements where necessary
