Contract: 12 Months
Based: Warton
Hourly Rate: £41.85 PAYE or £56.41 Umbrella inside IR35
4 days onsite per week
37 hours Monday - Friday
Overview BAE Systems are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to join the Dreadnought Programme, supporting the development of cutting-edge technology that plays a critical role in the UK's future defence capability
Clearance Eligibility: Full SC clearance and UK eyes only
The job will include: Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and support Agile delivery across multiple Scrum teams Work closely with Product Owners to refine and prioritise product backlogs Remove delivery impediments and help teams overcome obstacles Coach teams in Agile and Scrum best practices, supporting continuous improvement and increasing Agile maturity Build a collaborative, psychologically safe environment where teams can openly raise challenges and continuously improve Use delivery metrics and team data to identify successes, trends and opportunities for improvement Support effective communication between delivery teams and key stakeholders Promote Lean and Agile principles across the wider programme
Key Skills At least 3 years' experience working within Agile delivery teams Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile and Lean methodologies Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching cross-functional teams Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence (Atlassian Suite), SharePoint and Microsoft Office The ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment
