The role:

• As Food Buyer, you will develop, implement, and review a customer centric category strategy for the category developing innovative buying strategies which exceed customer expectations.
• The Food Buyer will manage product ranges across retail and wholesale channels, ensuring the proposition remains relevant to independent retailers, local customer needs and convenience shoppers
• As an experienced negotiator, the Food Buyer will negotiate favourable commercial terms with suppliers, supporting EDLC (Everyday Low Cost) and Buy 4 Less initiatives
• Develop and maintain strong supplier partnerships, supporting JBP’s
• The Food Buyer will develop and manage pricing frameworks across retail and wholesale
