Night Supervisor

We are looking for a Night Supervisor to provide a reassuring overnight presence, ensuring our guests, properties and estate are cared for.

When guests are staying at Penicuik House, someone needs to be looking after them, and the house, through the night. The Night Supervisor is that person: the calm, reassuring presence who makes sure guests are safe and well looked after overnight, the house is secure, and everything is in order for the morning.

This is a role of real trust and responsibility, carried out largely independently. It suits someone who is steady, dependable and discreet, taking quiet pride in looking after both people and a special place while others sleep. You'll be confident working on your own, responding calmly to anything that arises, and ensuring the estate is ready to welcome a new day.

The role is offered on a casual basis with overnight shifts scheduled according to occupancy and operational requirements. A competitive rate of pay is offered, depending on experience.
