I’m working with an established practice with longstanding roots in the Lanarkshire community. With a friendly team, a personal approach and real scope to progress, there is plenty here for a solicitor looking to take their next step.

You’ll manage your own varied caseload of privately funded and legally aided family matters, including divorce, separation, financial provision and child residence and contact. There is good autonomy to build relationships with your clients and see their cases through, alongside colleagues you can turn to for support.

Ideally, you’ll have around two years’ PQE, experience of legal aid work and the confidence to appear regularly in court. Just as important is your empathy. You’ll understand that behind every file is someone navigating a difficult chapter, and you’ll bring patience, clear advice and reassurance alongside strong legal skills.
