Bouygues Civil Works Division | Lower Thames CrossingJob PurposeTo manage the safe and successful delivery of diaphragm wall works on the Lower Thames Crossing project, ensuring performance, quality, safety and commercial outcomes are achieved within a major infrastructure alliance environment.Main ResponsibilitiesLead delivery of diaphragm wall construction from planning through to completionCoordinate construction activities and ensure completion of the works to the highest standards of safety, quality and within the stipulated timeframe and budgetDetermine and manage project priorities to ensure effective application of resources to guarantee project deliveryRegularly review the productivity, effectiveness, quality and profitability of projects, including project follow-up to monitor project deliverables and client satisfaction levels.Participating in the resolution of technical issues during technical meetings and construction phase.Ensure a safe working environment is provided for all team members.Ensure Company’s professional standards are maintained and company objectives in relation to budget targets, service quality, company reputation, H&S and environmental standards and take responsibility for compliance with external and internal standards.Provide leadership, direction and training to the team ensuring effective engagement and use of skills, competencies and expertise to drive operational efficiencies and quality.Qualifications & ExperienceDegree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical EngineeringProven experience delivering diaphragm wall works on major infrastructure projectsStrong technical understanding of deep foundations and retaining structuresExperience managing specialist plant and subcontractorsVSL/Bouygues Construction is an equal opportunities employer and is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse working environment where everyone is treated fairly and with respect.
