Chef Temp to Perm Location: GU12 Pay: £14.33 per hour Hours: 37.5 hours per week Contract: Temporary to Permanent Start Date: ASAP We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef to join a busy kitchen team on a temp to perm basis . This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week , with shifts worked on a rota basis. You must be flexible to work any 5 days out of 7 , including occasional weekends. Key Duties for a Chef: Preparing and cooking meals in a busy kitchen environment
Batch cooking for large numbers of people
Supporting the kitchen team during service
Ensuring high standards of food hygiene and safety are maintained
Assisting with food preparation and kitchen organisation
Maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment
The kitchen caters for between 50 and 300+ people daily , so the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment is essential. Requirements for a Chef: Must hold a valid clean DBS check
Must be a driver due to the xwzovoh location
Previous chef or cook experience in a busy kitchen
Experience with batch cooking
Good understanding of food hygiene and safety procedures
Reliable and able to work as part of a team
