Neighbourhood Warden - Exciting Opportunity! Are you passionate about your local community and committed to creating safe, clean and welcoming neighbourhoods? We are currently looking for a Senior Neighbourhood Warden to join the Housing Management - Culture, Homes & Communities team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with residents, supporting vulnerable people and making a real difference within the community. About the Role As a Senior Neighbourhood Warden, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of the neighbourhood, working closely with residents, Council services and external agencies. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting residents and providing a good neighbour service, with particular awareness of elderly and vulnerable residents. Carrying out health & safety inspections and compliance checks across communal areas. Helping to maintain clean, safe and attractive neighbourhoods. Reporting and following up on repairs, defects, fly-tipping, graffiti, abandoned vehicles and nuisance issues. Working closely with Police, Fire, Health, Waste, Housing, Education and other community services. Supporting tenant and resident groups, block representatives and community initiatives. Assisting with communal cleaning, refuse areas and general environmental improvements. Supporting CCTV, concierge and access arrangements where required. Helping maintain fire safety information and supporting emergency arrangements. Delivering letters, newsletters and important information to residents. Supporting and developing community initiatives, including Junior Neighbourhood Warden schemes. Providing support and guidance to the Cleaning Team.What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is: Community-minded and approachable Confident communicating with residents and partner organisations Organised and able to manage their own workload Proactive when identifying and resolving issues Comfortable working with a wide range of people Committed to health, safety, safeguarding and customer service Able to work effectively as part of a multi-agency team Practical, reliable and willing to get involved in the day-to-day running of the neighbourhood Why Join?
