Temporary Fire Safety & Compliance Surveyor Salary: £50,000 per annum 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract 2 Positions Available Benefits include 34 days annual leave (including bank holidays), matched pension contributions up to 7%, life assurance, health cash plan, and a comprehensive employee benefits package. The Role We are seeking two Fire Safety & Compliance Surveyors to support the delivery of critical fire safety and compliance programmes across a residential property portfolio. This role is focused on ensuring homes remain safe, compliant, and well maintained through the inspection and management of fire safety works, including fire doors, compartmentation and remediation projects. You will work closely with contractors, residents and operational teams to ensure works are delivered to the highest standards and in line with current legislation and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: * Carry out fire door inspections and oversee fire door replacement and remediation programmes. * Review and progress actions identified through Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs). * Manage contractors and monitor performance, quality and compliance. * Undertake inspections relating to fire safety and compartmentation works. * Ensure accurate compliance records are maintained and building safety information remains up to date. * Support the delivery of fire safety programmes in line with current legislation and regulatory requirements. * Provide clear communication and support to residents throughout programme delivery. * Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to the required standard. About You: You will have experience within fire safety, building safety, housing maintenance or property surveying and be confident managing contractors and compliance-related projects. You will be able to demonstrate: * Strong fire door inspection and compartmentation surveying experience. * Good understanding of fire safety legislation and building regulations. * Experience managing contractors and monitoring quality standards. * Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. * A proactive and solutions-focused approach to managing risk and compliance. * Experience working within residential property, housing or maintenance environments. Qualifications: * CIOB Level 6 Certificate in Fire Safety or equivalent experience. * Relevant surveying, construction, compliance or building safety background. * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use. Locations 2 opportunities available: Hertfordshire, Essex & North London (with occasional travel to Norfolk and Suffolk). London (with occasional travel to Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire). Mileage expenses will be reimbursed
