MIG Welder Corby Temporary role with the potential to become permanent. £14.00 - £15.50 per hour DOE Notice of Eligibility To be considered for this role you are required to be a UK resident with right to work documentation in place and be within a commutable distance of Corby. We are currently looking for people who have previously worked as MIG Welders to join a well-established engineering company. Our client has over 20 year's experience producing premium, durable that are laced within manufacturing and logistics facilities to ensure continuous workflow As a Fabricator, you are responsible for the following ·Marking out, cutting, fitting, and welding steel components used in the manufacture of bespoke conveyor systems. ·Working from engineering drawings and job specifications ·Ensure each component is produced accurately and efficiently. ·Set up and operate MIG Welding and fabrication equipment safely ·Use jigs & fixtures when required to ensure components are accurately assembled. ·Safe operation of fabrication equipment, and strict adherence to company safety procedures and quality standards. ·Adhere to H & S standards and all company safety policies and procedures. To be considered for this role the successful candidate will have the following ·Level 1 or 2 in Welding & Fabrication or City & Guilds in Welding ·Coding welder would be advantageous but not essential ·6 to 12 months MIG welding experience as a minimum in a workshop to production environment ·Be able to read fabrication drawings ·Follow measurements and tolerances ·Experience with cutting grinding and prepping materials ·Working with jigs fixtures and productions set ups ·Understanding weld quality checks If this sounds like you, please apply by submitting your CV or for more information please contact Lynne in the Corby office Travail Employment Group Ltd is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
