We are investing heavily in our engineering capability, with a clear ambition to become a benchmark for EPLAN engineering in Ireland .

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Cookstown.

The Role

You will develop electrical control systems from concept through to manufacture and testing, using EPLAN Electric P8 and Pro Panel .

Key responsibilities:

Electrical schematics and control system design using EPLAN
2D and 3D panel design using EPLAN Pro Panel
Produce manufacturing drawings, BOMs and technical documentation
Develop standardised designs, macros and engineering methods
Work directly with customers to develop technical requirements
Work closely with manufacturing to deliver accurate, production-ready designs
Support projects through manufacture, testing and commissioning
Resolve technical issues and drive continuous design improvement

The Person

Degree/HND in Electrical Engineering or relevant industry experience
Experience in electrical control system or panel design
Experience with EPLAN, Zuken or similar
Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems
Good analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
Driven to develop technically and produce high-quality engineering work

Experience with EPLAN Pro Panel, PLC systems, industrial machinery, engine controls or J1939 would be an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to £45,000.00 per year
