Here at GXO Dagenham, RM9 6PR , we are currently recruiting for HGV Category C+E (Class 1) powder tanker drivers to join our transport team supporting our customer, Breedon Cement. If you are looking for a new challenge and the chance to develop your career, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Don't worry if you haven't operated a powder tanker before, we will provide all the training and support you'll need to get out on the road and making deliveries.
You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, Monday to Friday , minimum of 48 hours per week guaranteed pay , with start times generally between 04:00 to 06:00 with paid breaks!
£49,192 per annum (based on 50 hours per week)
£18.92 per hour
Paid every four weeks – lunar pay
Paid holiday entitlement – 25 days plus 8 bank holidays
A Week off at Christmas (3 days from your holiday allocation)

What you'll do on a typical day:
Single drop deliveries (typically between 2 and 3 per shift) from our Dagenham depot to manufacturing and construction industry customers
Load and discharge powder products (predominantly cement) under pressure from tanker to silo
Maintain clear communication with the transport office regarding any issues and provide exceptional service to our customers
Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner??????? while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential
Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
No more than 6 current penalty points
