Food Technology Teacher Required - January 2027 Start

Supply Heroes are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and well-respected secondary school in the Worcester (WR11) area for a full-time Food Technology Teacher to cover a maternity leave from January 2027 until July 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Food Technology specialist to join a supportive department within a school that has been rated Good by Ofsted. The school is known for its positive culture, strong leadership team and commitment to providing high-quality teaching and learning.

The Role

* Deliver engaging Food Technology lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

* Plan, prepare and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum

* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

* Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

* Contribute to the wider life of the department and school where appropriate

The Ideal Candidate

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), QTLS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification

* Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4

* Strong classroom management skills

* Passionate about inspiring young people to achieve their potential

* Ability to plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons

* An experienced Food Technology Teacher is preferred, although strong ECTs with relevant experience may be considered
