Financial Director

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acting as the strategic finance lead for a major growth area, supporting long-term planning and execution
• Providing high-quality analysis and insight to inform investment decisions and board-level papers
• Partnering with senior stakeholders to shape strategy, structure, and commercial approach
• Overseeing financial planning, forecasting and performance reporting across complex projects
• Driving excellence in financial governance, controls and risk management, particularly across JV structures
• Building strong relationships across finance, operations and external partners to ensure alignment
• Leading and developing a high-performing finance capability, both directly and indirectly
• Supporting ongoing transformation initiatives, embedding best practice and continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Proven experience operating at a senior finance leadership level within a complex, capital-heavy environment
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders
• Advanced financial modelling and strategic planning capabilities
• Experience working with or advising on joint ventures, investments, or large-scale developments
• Track record of driving change, process improvement and transformation
• A collaborative, forward-thinking mindset with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership skills with experience building and developing teams
