About the role
Overview We are currently seeking to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor to join a highly regulated manufacturing organisation in the Newry and Mourne area.

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving plant reliability, minimising downtime and ensuring maintenance activities meet strict quality, safety and regulatory standards.
The role offers either continental shift patterns or a permanent night shift option.
Responsibilities Lead, coordinate and prioritise daily activities for a multi-disciplinary maintenance team (mechanical, electrical and electronic).
Ensure all facilities, utilities and production equipment remain compliant with GMP and regulatory requirements.
Oversee preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance to maximise uptime and asset reliability.
Drive high standards of workmanship, safety, documentation and audit readiness through the CMMS system.
Plan maintenance activities in collaboration with production to minimise operational disruption.
Manage permits, contractors, risk assessments and method statements for maintenance works.
Support a culture of continuous improvement, safety, quality and accountability across the team.
Monitor KPIs including downtime, PM compliance and response times.
Criteria Trade-qualified in electrical, electronic, mechanical or a related discipline (City & Guilds, BTEC or Degree).
Significant post-apprenticeship or post-graduate experience within an industrial or regulated manufacturing setting.
Proven experience supervising or leading maintenance teams.
Strong planning, coordination and organisational skills.
Comfortable working with CMMS systems, reporting tools and Microsoft Office.
A proactive, continuous-improvement mindset with a strong focus on compliance and safety.
