Our client is currently seeking a Micromobility Coordinator on a fixed term contract basis to join their team in the London. This role is pivotal to managing and coordinating the introduction of Ebike and Escooter contracts, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption to the community.Key Responsibilities:Overseeing the implementation of Ebike and Escooter contract operations with providers like Lime, Voi, and ForestManaging coordination and logistics for 200 non-docking sites and potential installation of 500-600 additional baysEnsuring bays are strategically placed to avoid blocking junctions and other critical areasCollaborating with highways and traffic orders teams to facilitate the installation of necessary signs and linesIdentifying new micromobility bay locations, specifically focusing on areas with low useageProviding strong justifications for site selectionsConducting one day a week of site identification, using existing and new dataEnsuring efficient communication and coordination among various stakeholdersJob Requirements:Experience in transportation and transport logistics, particularly within the micromobility sectorA strong commitment to sustainability and promoting eco-friendly alternativesKnowledge of highways regulations and streetworks proceduresCompetence in coordinating large-scale transportation projects and managing multiple stakeholdersExcellent organisational and coordination skillsAbility to justify and effectively communicate site selection decisions to varied audiencesUnderstanding of, or experience in, highways inspection would be advantageousBenefits:Opportunity to contribute to sustainable transportation initiativesEngagement with innovative micromobility solutionsCollaborative and supportive work environmentProfessional development opportunities within the Highways sectorIf you have a passion for sustainable transport and experience working for a highway authority, we would like to hear from you.
