Senior HGV Transport Planner Location: Worksop Hours: Full Time, 4 days on, 4 days off Contract: Permanent I’m currently working with a transport and logistics business based in Worksop who are recruiting for a Senior Transport Planner to join their team. In this role, you’ll be responsible efficiently planning HGV vehicles across the UK. Responsibilities: Planning of allocated pool of trucks and drivers. Maintaining sufficient trailer availability to deliver the plan. Maximise vehicle utilisation. Close working relationship with allocated drivers. Liaison with the operations team. Coordination with wider planning team to ensure all jobs are covered and customers are satisfied. Coordination with the commercial team to ensure jobs are completed and invoiced correctly.
