- Enfield, North LondonMorgan Hunt is recruiting a Safeguarding Officer to support the safety and wellbeing of learners within a further education setting in Enfield.This is an opportunity for a compassionate, proactive professional who can respond confidently to safeguarding concerns and provide practical support to young people.Key responsibilities:Respond to safeguarding concerns and disclosures, following college procedures.Work alongside the designated safeguarding lead to assess concerns and coordinate support.Maintain accurate, confidential safeguarding records.Liaise with external agencies and make referrals where appropriate.Support learners experiencing welfare, wellbeing or personal difficulties.Help staff understand safeguarding procedures and reporting responsibilities.We're looking for someone with:Experience in safeguarding, student welfare or a related role.An understanding of safeguarding procedures within education.Experience supporting young people and vulnerable adults.Strong communication, record-keeping and organisational skills.A calm, sensitive approach to handling confidential information.Interested?
