We are recruiting for a Registered Children's Home Manager to lead a specialist residential children’s service in Bradford. Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Children's Home Manager based in Bradford, your daily duties will include:

Leading, coaching, and supervising staff to deliver high-quality residential childcare for children and young people, with safeguarding at the heart of practice

Maintaining compliance with Ofsted regulations, policies, and procedures, ensuring the home is consistently inspection-ready

*

Supporting day-to-day operations in your role as a Registered Children's Home Manager to ensure high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance

*

Overseeing care planning, risk management, and positive behaviour support, ensuring plans reflect individual needs and promote stability

*

Working effectively with local authorities, commissioners, and other professionals as part of a multi-disciplinary approach to achieving positive outcomes

Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful as a Registered Children's Home Manager, you will need:

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England), or working towards it

*

Proven experience working as a Registered Children's Home Manager or in a similar residential childcare leadership setting with looked after children and young people

*

Strong practical knowledge of relevant regulatory standards, safeguarding protocols, and sector practices, including the confidence to lead an Ofsted inspection

*

Enhanced DBS check, including a check against the Children’s Barred List
