Warehouse Operative

General Warehouse Operative – Job Specification Role Overview We are looking for a reliable and hardworking General Warehouse Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring goods are received, stored, picked, packed and dispatched accurately and safely. Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided. Key Responsibilities * Receive and check incoming deliveries. * Load and unload goods safely. * Pick and pack customer orders accurately. * Prepare goods for dispatch and arrange them in designated areas. * Move stock around the warehouse using appropriate equipment. * Keep the warehouse clean, organised and tidy. * Follow company health and safety procedures at all times. * Complete relevant paperwork and warehouse records. * Work as part of a team to meet daily targets and deadlines. * Carry out other reasonable warehouse duties as required. Essential Requirements * Good level of physical fitness, as the role may involve lifting and moving goods. * Reliable and punctual. * Good attention to detail. * Ability to follow instructions and workplace procedures. * Positive attitude and strong work ethic. * Good communication skills.
