SEN Teaching Assistant – Oldham (Multiple Vacancies) Location: Oldham Employer: The Education Specialists (TES) Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Long-term / Temp-to-Perm / Flexible within Trust Salary: £90 – £105 per day (dependent on experience) Hours: Full-time (part-time considered) Join a Leading SEN Trust – Opportunities Available Now The Education Specialists (TES) are excited to be working in partnership with a large SEN Multi-Academy Trust in Oldham, and we are now recruiting a high volume of SEN Teaching Assistants to support across their schools. As a trusted staffing partner, all agency support for this Trust is now managed through TES, giving you priority access to roles across multiple sites. About the Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of needs, including: Autism (ASC) ADHD SEMH Physical disabilities / complex needs Behavioural challengesRoles may include: 1:1 support Small group interventions Classroom-based support alongside the teacherYou can choose to: Work long-term in one school, or Gain experience across multiple schools within the Trust Key Responsibilities Support learning and engagement in the classroom Build strong relationships with pupils Assist with behaviour management strategies Support personal care where required Work closely with teachers and SENCOs What We’re Looking For Experience working with children or young people (school or care setting) Passion for supporting pupils with additional needs Strong communication and teamwork skills Resilient, patient, and proactive approach Relevant qualifications (desirable but not essential) What TES Offers Competitive PAYE daily rates (£90 – £105) Access to exclusive roles within the Trust Long-term and temp-to-perm opportunities Free CPD including SEN and behaviour training Dedicated consultant support £150 referral scheme Apply Today If you’re looking to build or continue your career in SEND, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and well-structured Trust in Oldham.
