- THE ROLE -
As a key member of the Confucius Institute Team, the role will support the institute in promoting and teaching Chinese language and culture to schools and partner institutions across Northern Ireland, focusing on the primary school sector. The post holder will take the lead in organising, co-ordinating and managing the delivery of Chinese cultural workshops. The post holder will provide a comprehensive and professional support service to the Confucius Institute leadership team. The focus of work may change according to the stage in the academic year.
- ABOUT YOU -
- A Degree (or equivalent qualification) or A-levels (or equivalent) and relevant work experience.
- A fluent speaker of Chinese Mandarin evidenced by experience or qualification.
- Demonstrable ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to at least level B2 on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) scale or hold a degree-level academic qualification taught in English.
- Evidence of teaching experience within the Northern Ireland education system at any level.
