QC Coordinator - Manufacturing

Quality Control Coordinator Location: South Manchester Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 Industry: Manufacturing Job Type: Permanent We are recruiting a Quality Control Coordinator for an established manufacturer based in South Manchester. The role will focus on both Quality and Health & Safety, supporting product standards, site compliance and continuous improvement across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to progress. Over the next two years, the successful candidate will be supported through their NEBOSH qualification and developed towards a management position. Key Responsibilities * Coordinate day-to-day quality control activities * Carry out product checks, inspections and sampling * Investigate quality issues and non-conformances * Maintain Quality and Health & Safety documentation * Support internal audits and site inspections * Help identify workplace risks and improvement opportunities * Work with Production and Warehouse teams to improve standards * Promote a positive Quality and Health & Safety culture The Successful Candidate * Experience within Quality, Health & Safety or manufacturing compliance * Background in manufacturing, chemicals, engineering or a similar industry * Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills * Confident communicating with employees at all levels * A practical and proactive approach * Keen to complete a NEBOSH qualification and progress into management What’s on Offer * Clear progression into a management role * Fully supported NEBOSH qualification * Early finish every Friday! * Training and ongoing development * Exposure to both Quality and Health & Safety * The opportunity to influence site standards and improvements * Competitive salary and benefits This is a great opportunity for an ambitious Quality or Health & Safety professional looking to take the next step in their career
