Vehicle Technician – Mercedes-Benz
Location: Stevenage
Salary: £32,000–£42,000 Basic + Bonus (OTE £55,000)

The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy and successful Mercedes-Benz dealership in Stevenage. Working within a manufacturer-trained environment, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to the highest standards while contributing to workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles.
* Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
* Complete work efficiently and in accordance with manufacturer standards.
* Conduct vehicle health checks and identify additional repair opportunities.
* Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
* Work collaboratively with the workshop and service teams to achieve departmental objectives.
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Candidate Requirements
Essential
* Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
* Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Diagnostic Technician.
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workshop environment.
Desirable
* Mercedes-Benz experience.
* Manufacturer accreditation or franchise dealership experience.
* MOT Tester qualification.
* Hybrid and EV qualification or experience.
