Warehouse & Forklift Operative | BS4 Bristol | £13.78/hr Temp to Perm | Full-Time | 37.5 hrs/wk | Weekly Pay Shifts (rotating every two weeks) Shift 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm Shift 2: Monday to Thursday, 12:30pm to 9:00pm / Friday, 12:30pm to 6:30pm Early finish every Friday on both patterns. What's in it for you Weekly pay Free on-site parking Early Friday finish on both shift patterns Permanent contract on offer following successful temp period The role A well-established engineering and manufacturing company in BS4, Bristol is recruiting two Warehouse Operatives: one for Inbound and one for Dispatch. Both roles are hands-on and fast-paced, with regular counterbalance forklift operation as part of the day-to-day workload. This is a physically demanding position. You will be on your feet throughout your shift, handling stock, operating equipment, and keeping the warehouse moving. Inbound responsibilities Unloading deliveries and booking goods into the system Moving stock using a counterbalance forklift Checking incoming stock for quantity and quality Maintaining accurate inventory records Dispatch responsibilities Picking and packing customer orders Labelling, wrapping, and preparing items for dispatch Loading finished goods onto delivery vehicles using a counterbalance forklift Supporting light assembly tasks when required What we're looking for Proven, hands-on counterbalance forklift experience from a previous role - you must be confident and competent operating one from day one Solid background in warehouse, goods-in, or dispatch environments Good attention to detail and reliable timekeeping Comfortable with a physically demanding role involving manual handling throughout your shift ⚠️ Please only apply if you have genuine, regular counterbalance forklift experience from a previous warehouse role.
