Purchasing Assistant - Assistant Buyer (Permanent)

Product & Procurement Assistant Salary: Competitive Location: Tamworth Position: Permanent, Full time, Hybrid We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-driven Product & Procurement Assistant to join our team. This varied role, offers hands-on exposure to product data, systems, product lifecycle management & involvement in procurement operations. What you’ll do Maintain accurate product data, specifications, and ERP system records Support new product introductions (NPI) and ongoing lifecycle activities Manage product changes, including ECNs, delists, and packaging updates Produce reports, insights, and category analysis to support decision-making Coordinate product documentation, features, and marketing information across teams Work closely with product, category, and commercial teams to ensure data accuracy Support packaging and artwork updates, ensuring alignment with product specifications Provide procurement support including raising POs, supplier admin, returns, and invoice queries Help maintain supplier records, scorecards, and procurement documentation About you Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Confident managing large amounts of data and working with Excel Strong communicator who can collaborate across multiple teams Able to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment Experience in product admin, data management, or procurement (desirable) Why join?
