About the role
We're looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Customer Care Operative to join a leading residential housebuilder, working across new-build developments throughout Cheshire
Check all associated application documentation thoroughly before clicking on the apply button at the bottom of this description.
This is a varied, customer-facing role where you'll be trusted to visit homeowners, identify issues and carry out high-quality remedial works. No two days will be exactly the same, so we're looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, can turn their hand to a range of trades and understands the importance of delivering a great customer experience.
A joinerybackground would be particularly desirable, although we're equally interested in hearing from experienced multi-trade professionals from other backgrounds.
The Role
Working within customers' new-build homes, you'll manage your own workload and complete a variety of remedial, maintenance and finishing works to a high standard.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Carrying out remedial and maintenance works within new-build properties
Completing joinery, painting, decorating and general multi-trade repairs
Inspecting reported defects, diagnosing issues and identifying the best remedial solution
Managing and prioritising your workload to complete appointments within agreed timescales
Delivering a high standard of workmanship while keeping disruption to homeowners to a minimum
Providing customers with a professional, friendly and reassuring service throughout your visit
Completing job reports and updates electronically using a mobile operative system
Liaising with subcontractors, other trades and customer care teams when required
Providing clear information on defects and any additional works required
Working safely and in accordance with relevant Health & Safety requirements
What We're Looking For
You'll ideally have previous experience within new-build customer care, residential maintenance, snagging or a multi-trade environment.
More importantly, you'll be someone who takes ownership of their work, communicates well with customers and is confident working independently in occupied homes. xwzovoh
You'll need:
Strong all-round property maintenance and remedial skills
A joinery or other recognised trade background
Experience working within occupied properties and dealing directly with customers
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Excellent attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work
Basic IT skills and confidence using mobile apps and job-reporting systems
A full UK driving licence
Please contact HBF Recruitment for further information on this opportunity to join a 5* housebuilder.
