This home offers holistic and therapeutic care for children and young people with learning disabilities and emotional and behavioural needs.
The team within the home prioritises providing therapeutic care, utilising the PACE model, encouraging small day-to-day successes and progress with empathy, curiosity, and acceptance.
You would be joining a team that is part of a well-established company, with a consistent history of Good and Outstanding Ofsted ratings.

As a Senior Childrens SEN Care Practitioner, you will play a key role in ensuring each child receives the consistent, day-to-day support they require.
You will confidently lead shifts, maintain the children's day-to-day routines, keep well-written records, and provide structure, acting as a positive role model to both the children and your team.
As a Senior member of staff, you will be a key point of direction for your colleagues, so proven experience in a similar role and a good knowledge of The Childrens Homes Regulations are essential.
Salary: £32,000 (Welcome bonus of £1,500) Hours 37.5 hours per week and 5 sleep ins per month Benefits of a Senior Childrens SEN Care Practitioner The chance to make a positive, lasting difference to childrens lives Working within an Ofsted-rated Good or Outstanding home Working within a welcoming, homely environment A company that values your skills and encourages career progression Extensive training opportunities provided Blue Light discount eligibility Meals provided whilst on shift Free parking Casual dress code Welcome bonus of £1,500 Role of a Senior Childrens SEN Care Practitioner Foster strong relationships with young people through positive engagement Support with planning and providing individualised care plans Adhere to safeguarding policies and risk assessments Act as a positive role model to both your team and the children within the home Support behaviours with kindness and compassion Oversee the day-to-day running of each shift, providing support to your team as Delegate tasks and conduct smooth handovers Engage with and participate in staff meetings Ensure the home remains a safe, structured, and nurturing environment Liaise with families, teachers, social workers, therapists, and external professionals Communicate with xwzovoh your senior management team and work collaboratively Promote a multidisciplinary approach to care, working closely with your team Support children in building independence through positive daily routines Provide personal care as and when required Build positive relationships that encourage empathy and trust Ensure all documentation and record-keeping are thorough and accurate Requirements of a Senior Childrens SEN Care Practitioner Must hold a Level 3 or 4 Residential Childcare qualification (or equivalent) Must hold a full UK Manual Driving License Have prior experience working with children in a residential setting Experience supporting SEN, LD, and/or EBD needs Be able to work a rota pattern that can include long days and weekend shifts (5 sleep-ins per week) If this role appeals to you, please apply today!
