All candidates must already hold eDV to be eligible. /n /n As Infrastructure Engineer, you will contribute to delivering and maintaining operational systems in our many business areas and this role will be office based. /n /n Skills and Experience /n /n - /n Experience working within an Agile / SCRUM / DevOps delivery model /n /n - /n Experience as a Systems Engineer in software intensive programmes covering full engineering lifecycle from requirements decomposition to acceptance and customer sign off /n /n - /n Understanding of the complexities in design and implementation of large-scale information systems /n /n - /n Ability to take responsibility for technical aspects of a project, and to work closely with project management to deliver /n /n - /n Linux administration and deployment /n /n - /n Understanding of server, storage and desktop hardware /n /n /n /n Desirable /n /n - /n Experience working in a Linux environment (RedHat, CentOS) /n /n - /n Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, OU, User and Group Management /n /n - /n Demonstrable experience of model-based systems architecture/engineering (e.g. MODAF, TOGAF) /n /n - /n Knowledge of RedHat migrations /n /n - /n Knowledge of networking health monitoring /n /n - /n Knowledge of Concourse (writing pipelines, administering the cluster) /n /n - /n Understanding of VMware vSphere ESXi /n /n - /n Knowledge of Atlassian Suite /n /n - /n Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Ansible) /n /n - /n Docker / Kubernetes containerisation and orchestration /n /n - /n Elasticsearch/Kibana /n /n - /n Cloud services (AWS or Azure) /n /n - /n Helm charts /n /n - /n MongoDB /n /n - /n Experience building enterprise level web applications or services /n /n - /n Apache Kafka /n /n /n /n Responsibilities /n /n - /n Perform system administration and backup tasks /n /n - /n Assist in the investigation and resolution of issues relating to applications, networks and services /n /n - /n Contribute to maintenance, installation and problem resolution /n /n - /n Researching and resolving system design issues /n /n - /n Provide interpretation of requirements and design into the component design and implementation /n /n
