This position would suit someone currently working within the steel industry or with previous experience across steel sales, purchasing, trading, procurement, market analysis or a related commercial role. The successful candidate will play a key role in gathering, analysing and communicating market intelligence while building strong relationships across the steel sector. Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain relationships with industry contacts and research partners * Monitor global steel market trends, pricing movements and industry developments * Collect, verify and analyse market data with a high level of accuracy * Produce written market commentary, reports and industry updates * Collaborate with internal teams to support market analysis and data integrity * Manage and maintain databases and market information systems * Respond to client enquiries and provide informed market insight * Attend industry conferences, seminars and networking events * Ensure confidentiality and integrity of sensitive market information About You * Previous experience within the steel industry is essential * Strong understanding of steel pricing structures and market dynamics * Experience across stainless steel and/or carbon steel markets highly desirable * Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability * Strong communication and relationship-building skills * Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a team * Proactive approach with strong organisational and problem-solving skills * Additional language skills would be advantageous but are not essential Apply Now If you are looking to transition your steel industry experience into a market-focused analytical role within a highly respected business, we would love to hear from you
