The Best Connection is currently seeking a professional and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver for an ongoing temporary position on behalf of our client based in Gateshead. This HGV Class 2 Driver role starts on a temporary basis; however, there is genuine potential for the position to become permanent for the right candidate. Role Requirements for the HGV Class 2 Driver: Safe Delivery: Transporting and delivering flooring products, including carpets, vinyl, and accessories, to independent retailers and contractors across the North East. Manual Handling: This is a physical HGV Class 2 Driver role involving the loading and unloading of carpets and flooring materials. Customer Service: Acting as a professional face of the company during multi-drop deliveries and maintaining excellent customer relationships. Vehicle Checks: Completing all necessary pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and ensuring compliance with transport regulations.
