Freight operations Supervisor

Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm (1 hour unpaid lunch break)

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Freight Operations Supervisor to join a dynamic and growing multimodal operations team. This role is crucial for someone who can manage operational shipments while supervising and supporting the day-to-day activities of the operations team. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, this position is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Manage import, export, and cross-trade shipments from start to finish.
• Supervise and support the daily activities of the operations team.
• Monitor team performance and operational KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, customs regulations, and trade compliance requirements.
• Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues and customer concerns.
• Provide training, guidance, and support to team members.
• Coordinate with carriers, customers, overseas agents, and internal departments.
• Support service quality improvements and implementation of corrective actions.
• Assist the Operations Manager with workload planning and resource allocation.
• Contribute to the development and standardisation of operational procedures.
• Support business growth initiatives, including new services and special projects.
