About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and dynamic chef who is passionate about cooking and constantly driving high standards. You must be able to work as part of a team and individually. The individual must have a positive attitude and take pride in delivering an exceptional dining experience, as well as working in a high performing and fast paced kitchen.
Salary will be negotiable on experience.
Shift patterns will include split shifts and a variety of weekday and weekend shifts, as well as working in public and school holidays.
Role Responsibility;
Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
Follow recipes and presentation specifications
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Up to date knowledge of recipes and cooking techniques
Restock items as needed throughout the shift
Maintain and take pride in a high standard and clean working kitchen.
Assist with the cleaning and organisation of the kitchen and equipment.
Record daily kitchen paperwork
Monitor food stock
Adhere to all food hygiene and safety standards
Ensuring the highest standard of hygiene and cleanliness to ensure safe food preparation
Ability to remain calm, have a mature approach, manage multiple tasks efficiently and cook from scratch in a fast paced environment.
High levels of personal motivation
Well-presented, articulate and enthusiastic
Level 2 in Food & Hygiene certificate
At least 1 year prior experience is essential.
Excellent time management abilities
Immediate start when we are allowed to open.
