The Role: Floor Supervisor
At Stone Island, we are always looking for people who share our spirit and values to drive our company forward. We are currently looking for a Floor Supervisor to join our team at London Harrods.
The Day-To-Day
BUSINESS
· Is proactive & self-motivated by taking initiative and anticipating issues.
· Is self-developing & target-driven by continuously improving skills, setting ambitious goals, and strives to achieve success.
· Provides motivation to the team and leads by example at all times.
· Drives sales and productivity through individual results and key KPI management.
· Ensures the Stone Island Sales and Service standards are embodied consistently.
· Acting in collaboration and under the supervision of Store Management, leads all business support activities and processes in order to guarantee that they are properly executed, in line with business strategies.
· Supports the Store Management ensuring the sales team is always motivated, competent, informed, aware of corporate policies and stimulated to be up to date.
· Understands and proactively responds to the competitive environment, trends and identifies future opportunities.
OPERATIONS / STOCK MANAGEMENT
Guarantees BOH organisation, procedures and implementation; as well as replenishment/transfer activities.
· Oversees the maintenance of the store’s visual merchandising standards.
· Has opening and closing responsibilities.
· Accountable for coordinating the efficiency and accuracy of the day-to-day BOH procedures and processes.
· Supervises the implementation and execution of after-sales service procedures to reach excellent results in terms of timing and manner.
· Has full ownership of cash/card handling and client data procedures.
· Collects all the information needed to have a clear understanding of all operations policies and procedures, to guarantee that they are properly applied by the team.
PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE
· Has strong knowledge of the collection.
· Provides insights on fabrics and products specificities.
· Oversees product activities and issues, to ensure corporate standards and directives.
Key Qualifications.
· Deep understanding, passion and enthusiasm for the Stone Island brand and products are essential.
· Strong knowledge of the fashion industry with an instinctive feel for the product.
· At least 3 to 5 years in luxury fashion retail.
· Trustworthiness, attendance, flexibility, agility, attitude for teamwork.
· Fluency & sophistication in English - additional languages is a plus.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
· Proven track record of successful sales generation, building clientele.
· Proficient computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel and Outlook).
· Possess strong attention to detail;
· Ability to read and analyse sales reports.
· Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the concession.
