This medium-sized freight forwarding company based near Heathrow is looking for an experienced Airfreight Export Clerk to join their team.
The ideal candidate will have a previous experience working within Air Exports and will be confident managing shipments from booking through to final departure, while providing a high level of customer service. Good understanding of Cargowise is essential for this role
Key Responsibilities
Accepting and processing new export bookings Booking cargo space with airlines Arranging haulage and collections Preparing export documentation, including HAWB and MAWB Completing export customs entries Pre-alerting overseas agents Completing file billing Providing customers with regular shipment updates Handling general customer service enquiries Liaising with airlines, hauliers, overseas agents and customers Ensuring shipments are processed accurately and efficiently Requirements
Essential:
Previous experience in Airfreight Exports Good knowledge of export procedures and documentation xwzovoh Understanding of export customs entries/CARGOWISE Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent attention to detail
Salary: circa £35,000 + Excellent bonus scheme
Monday to Friday working hours
