Laser Cutter Location: Nottingham Salary: £15.00–£17.00 per hour (including shift allowance) Hours: 40 hours per week Job Type: Permanent, Full-time We are looking for 2 experienced Laser Cutters to join our growing production team. You will be responsible for setting up and operating laser cutting machinery, producing high-quality components to engineering drawings while meeting production, quality and safety standards. Key Responsibilities: * Set up, operate and monitor laser cutting machines. * Load and unload materials safely and efficiently. * Read and interpret engineering drawings and production documentation. * Carry out machine adjustments and tooling changes. * Perform quality inspections using measuring equipment. * Complete production records accurately. * Carry out basic machine maintenance and maintain a clean work area. * Follow Health & Safety procedures and support continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements: * Previous experience operating laser cutting machinery. * Ability to read engineering drawings. * Experience using verniers, micrometers and measuring gauges. * Strong attention to detail and quality standards. * Good problem-solving and communication skills. * Experience with CNC laser cutting, sheet metal manufacturing, FLT or overhead crane operation is advantageous.
