Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Operations Manager to lead our Logistics team in Market Drayton Depot. You’ll lead a high-performing team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with all legal and safety standards.

• Location: Market Drayton Depot (TF9 3UY)
• Contract: Full Time/Permanent
• Shift: Monday-Friday (40 hours)
• Salary: Competitive

Operations Manager Key Responsibilities;

• Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental Management Systems.
• Manage depot operations, including rota planning, staffing, and cost control.
• Deliver against KPIs and OGSM targets.
• Drive customer service excellence for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure legal compliance for drivers and vehicles.
• Conduct performance reviews, training, and disciplinary procedures.
• Drive an inclusive culture and ensure Wellbeing, diversity and Inclusivity events are actively promoted at site level.
