Job Vacancy: Property Inspector (Temporary Accommodation) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM Sector: Social Housing / Property Management The Role We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Property Inspector to join our team, working closely with local authorities to manage and maintain high standards within temporary accommodation. You will serve as a key link between the council, landlords, and tenants, ensuring that properties are safe and ready for residents. Key Responsibilities * Property Inspections: Monitor property condition and ensure tenants maintain standards. * Occupancy & Compliance: Complete checks to identify abandonment or unauthorised sub-letting. * Ready-to-Let Assessments: Use pre-populated digital forms to ensure properties meet safety requirements. * Stakeholder Liaison: Conduct joint inspections with local authorities and coordinate access with landlords or contractors. * Tenant Management: Facilitate the booking-in process for new tenants. Desired Skills & Experience * Industry Expertise: Essential experience in social housing or property management. * Licensing: Full UK Driving Licence (Essential). * Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, IT proficiency, and excellent organisation.
